DaddyYo!

so my dad's a drummer and for a long time i always wondered who his favorite drummer is? i always knew one of his favorite musicians was Bill Evans and he always had a great appreciation for Eric Clapton but, i never knew who really inspired him as a drummer. a few weeks ago i stayed at my dads house and he asked me if i wanted to watch a dvd of his, witch was already in the dvd player, i said "sure" the dvd was Eric Clapton playing in London with a drummer who was Steve Gadd. i asked my dad, "is this your favorite drummer?" he said something like, "yea at this time. watch him he rips!" i watched it. so good. thanx dad luv u.

this is the video it's Eric Clapton live in Hyde Park in 96. Eric Clapton is amazing. my favorite part of the video.

unwillingly entering enclosed pressure

today i noticed
on two different encounters
bugs

one of them
crawling up the wall of the bathroom
as i stared at it
i asked myself
should i kill it?
or should i just ignore it?

then i was sitting on the couch
and a tiny little bug
crawling across the paper
caught my eye
so tiny
smaller than an ant
and then it made me think of the first one

and then i thought
is this why we came back?
to nothing
forgetting for a few days was lovely

everything started to come back
the closer and closer we got

i'm sure we all felt the same.
